On Saturday, Caren attended the Girl Scouts of Orange County's annual Volunteer Conference. It was held at Chapman University, which was a beautiful campus. Caren enjoyed checking out all the various booths, and learning about Disney youth programs, higher awards, and award nominations. http://link.shutterfly.com/ZCna1MGD47

Dana Point & Girls in the Garage 08-07-19

Caren had a Girl Scout field trip planned to Mission Viejo for the evening, so we took a quick stop at the Dana Point tide pools before hand. The tide was too high to really see anything, but the girls had fun walking in the sand and on the rocks. http://link.shutterfly.com/9mDAYshC47

After Dana Point, we headed to Mission Viejo Transmissions for an event called Girls in the Garage. Here, we learned about cars, from checking tire pressure to engine oil and more. By visiting all the stations, the girls earned their Girl Scout Car Care Badge. http://link.shutterfly.com/DYLWqRCC47
