MV Registration & New Car 08-28-17

Due to Richard's unfortunate car accident last week, his poor Lexus was totalled. So after registration today, we went to Honda and bought him a new car. After test driving both the CRV and the Pilot, we went home with a brand new CRV. http://pix.sfly.com/cVA8-y

Campland 08-27-17

Cecily invited her friend Paris to join us in Campland this year. Of course we had to make a quick stop at UCSD for our Sun God photo on the way down. Richard bought a new griddle to cook while we were camping. The griddle worked out really well for all our meals, but Richard had an unfortunate accident the first night. While he was cleaning the griddle, he accidentally dripped hot grease on his toes and burned them so badly it blistered. Poor guy! We still had a fun weekend with cornhole, scootering, paddleboarding, swimming, making smores, playing volleyball, and much more. http://pix.sfly.com/TaS3AE

On our actual anniversary, Caren and Cecily got up early to volunteer for the CHOC Walk at CHOC by handing out t-shirts and wristbands. Since we couldn't make it to the walk, we still helped out by raising money and volunteering today. Knott's 08-10-17

It was Snoopy's birthday, so we headed to Knott's with Paris for a few hours. Knott's was giving out prizes for finding them through their social media posts, so we won free Snoopy birthday cupcakes. Cecily, Alyssa, and Yvi had met on Monday to get started on their Girl Scout Silver Award. After a lot of discussion, they decided they really wanted to work with animals.
