US Open & WAGS 07-30-18

We took our neighbor Kylie to check out another day at the US Open. The girls had fun playing the games, coloring a tote bag, and posing for a boomerang in the Lifeproof booth. US Open & Campland 07-28-18

On Saturday, Caren and Cecily went down to check out the first day of the US Open of Surfing. They played some games and grabbed a free hot dog lunch before heading home. Sunday we had our annual Campland planning party at the Conne house. http://pix.sfly.com/Vk0ANy

Dog Beach 07-27-18

We finally took Willow down to Dog Beach for the first time. Cecily was so excited to play with Willow in the water. However, Willow did not like the waves! After she got wet a few times, she kept trying to pull us back up to the parking lot. Legoland 07-22-18

We headed down to Legoland for our annual Amabassador Building Session. This year, we made mosaics for a wall in the Legoland Guest Services office. Afterwards, we checked out the new Legoland Castle Hotel and went into the park to ride the new submarine ride. http://pix.sfly.com/eYCB0X

GS Silver Award 07-21-18

Cecily and her Girl Scout group (Yvi, Emily, and Alyssa) finanlly finished their Silver Award! They delivered their Ecos donations along with a thumbdrive containing the video they made for WAGS promoting adoption, volunteering, and donations. Great job, girls! http://pix.sfly.com/OuD23o

GS FBI Camp 07-20-18

Instead of the Westminster Girl Scout Day Camp this summer, Cecily was a Camp Junior Counselor at the Cyber G-Girl STEM Academy (FBI Camp) at the Discovery Science Center with Nicolette. It sounded like such an amazing camp geared towards girls but Cecily was disappointed in their lack of participation as junior counselors. http://pix.sfly.com/9rOORE

Girl Scout Journey 07-15-18

Miss Amy held an overnight Girl Scout Journey at her house this weekend. We had five girls from our troop join her five girls in her troop for the Senior Mission Sisterhood Journey. During their time together, they even finished the Senior Collage Artist badge and their Take Action project as part of the Journey. Both troops of girls had a great time crafting and making ice cream together. Then Cecily met up with her friend Jennifer on Sunday afternoon for a bike ride and photos. http://pix.sfly.com/-0yumN

Marina Soccer Camp 07-12-18

Cecily attended Marina's summer soccer camp for two and a half weeks (missed the first few days due to 8th grade East Coast trip) to prep for soccer try-outs. They had practices at the Marina field and then scrimmages against other schools at Westminster High School. http://pix.sfly.com/UYPyo5

Happy 4th of July! We drove down to Goldenwest and rode our bikes down to the annual HB 4th of July parade. It is always fun to watch the parade with friends. Afterwards, we headed over to the Conne house for swimming and barbecue.
