We had our playgroup egg hunt today at John Baca Park. Even though Easter was over, the kids had so much fun looking for eggs.

Happy Easter! Cecily enjoyed her day at Grandma and PaPa's house. She loved her Easter activities (Easter baskets, dying eggs, egg hunt), and it was so warm out that she ran through the sprinklers.

Harbour Lights Easter 03-22-08
Harbour Lights had their own Easter celebration today. They held an egg hunt for the kids. There were 500 eggs hidden around the courtyard, and they had a special section roped off for kids 4 and under. After finding eggs, the kids got to take pictures and get a gift from the Easter bunny. They also provided snacks for everyone. Cecily had a lot of fun. Then we went up to Papa and Grandma's house to get ready for Easter the next day.

Playgroup Siena's Birthday 03-19-08
Our playgroup helped celebrate Mollie's sister Siena's first birthday today at their house. The kids enjoyed the Easter themed party with egg dying and an egg hunt as well as bouncing on the fun trampoline. After the party, Trish and Caren took Mollie to the park next to her house so her mom could have some quiet time.

California Adventure 03-13-08
Cecily and Caren went to California Adventure today see the annual passholder preview of the new Playhouse Disney show with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, and Pooh. Apparently, MANY other passholders had the same idea, and the lines were insane. We finally made it into the fourth showing of the day at 3:15. But during the rest of the day, we had fun seeing Chip, Dale, Mickey, Goofy, Princess Atta, Flik, Pluto, JoJo, and Goliath. We also rode Monsters Inc., saw Turtle Talk with Crush, and learned about animation at the Animation Academy.

Playgroup St. Patrick's Party 03-12-08
Cecily's playgroup had their St. Patrick's Day party today. We had a yummy lunch of corned beef pasta and green frosted cupcakes. The kids had so much fun playing, checking out the pig, and catching bubbles.

John's 4th Birthday 03-10-08
Happy 4th birthday John! Today was our park day at Peter Green and also John's 4th birthday. So Erin brought cupcakes for the kids to decorate to help celebrate. Cecily also got to ride her new princess bicycle at the park for the first time.
Phoenix 03-07-08
Cecily was so excited to finally go to Grandma Lynn's house in Phoenix. On Friday, we went to the playground with her cousins Emily, Hayden, and Austin. They kids had fun playing in the sand and swinging on the swings. Cecily also loved Grandma Lynn's easel, where she painted a beautiful picture of people. On Saturday, we enjoyed a yummy brunch at Cracker Barrel before Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Otto bought Cecily a pink princess bicycle for her birthday. At night, Cecily played at Emily and Hayden's house while Richard and Caren went to the Melting Pot with Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Otto. On Sunday, we all went to the Arizona Science Center and had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Phoenix.

Easter Bunny 03-05-08
Spring is here! We visited Fashion Island today to see the Easter Bunny. Cecily had fun running around on the grass with Sammie, Trent, and Emma while they were waiting to see the Easter Bunny. Then, Cecily actually sat with the Easter Bunny and took a beautiful picture! The Easter Bunny gave them cute little duck books after they were done. After seeing the Easter Bunny, Cecily and Emma went to check out the fish. We also saw Eleanor, Elizabeth, and Emery with Erika at Fashion Island. Eleanor, Emma, and Cecily had fun playing party in a store called This Little Piggy. And of course, they all LOVED seeing the puppies at the pet store.

Disney Day 03-02-08
We finally headed back to Disneyland after 3 long months without our passes. Cindy and her friend from Japan, Sakiko, joined us for a fun day at Disneyland and California Adventure. We rode Buzz Lightyear, saw Cecily's favorite princess Sleeping Beauty at the Princess Fantasy Faire, ran into her playgroup friend Jordyn in Adventureland, took pictures with the Pooh gang (except for Piglet since he was too shy to come out), talked to Stitch in Innoventions, watched the Parade of Dreams, met Dopey and Snow White, rode King Triton's Carousel, and enjoyed dinner at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. Cecily can't wait to go back!
