Cecily and Caren helped throw a baby shower for four moms in their playgroup. Two moms have just had their babies (Randi and Charlene), and two moms are about to have their babies (Keri and Erin). Cecily got to meet baby Maya for the first time.

Happy Birthday Emily 02-25-07
Happy 4th birthday to Emily! We spent this week with Cecily's cousins at Disneyland and California Adventure to celebrate. Cecily and Caren spent Wednesday with them at Downtown Disney. On Friday, Richard, Caren, and Cecily went to California Adventure and Disneyland with Christina, Emily, Hayden, and Austin. We celebrated Emily's birthday at our Ariel's Grotto Princess Lunch. On Saturday, we all went back to Disneyland and California Adventure and celebrated Emily's birthday again at the Plaza Inn Birthday Party. Finally, today on Emily's actual birthday, we all went to Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel for the final celebration. Cecily had so much fun with all her cousins!

Valentine's Day 02-14-07
Happy Valentine's Day! And Happy Birthday to Angie!!
We have been working on potty training since Sunday, and Cecily is doing really well. We have left the house everyday this week wearing panties. So far, one pee accident on Monday, one poop accident Tuesday, and no accidents so far today. She is getting really good at going pee on the big toilets and in the bushes at the park as well. She loves picking out which big girl underwear to wear.

Ted & John's 3rd Birthday Party 02-10-07
Cecily had a great time at Ted & John's Thomas the Train 3rd birthday party at Peter Green Park. She had fun at the playground, played in the sand, and drew chalk pictures. She enjoyed her pizza and decorated her own cupcake. Happy Birthday Ted & John!

Playgroup Valentine's Party 02-07-07
Cecily had fun at her playgroup Valentine's party today. The kids played with Michael's train table, did some Valentine crafts, and exchanged Valentine's.

Snow Day 02-03-07
Cecily got to see her first real snow today at Big Bear Mountain. We went with her MOMS Club friends Emma, Kayla, Bronson, and their parents. When Cecily first saw the snow, she told us she wanted to see reindeer and Santa! The kids had so much fun having a picnic, sledding down the hill, and building a snowman (really just a snow blob). There was not a lot of snow, but we all still had a blast.

Disney Day 02-01-07
Cecily had a fun day with Bronson at MOMS Club Disney Day. They had lunch at California Adventure and rode the Golden Zephyr before heading over to Disneyland. There, they attempted to bake cookies and explored Tom Sawyer's Island. The next time we go, it will probably be changed to the new Pirate's Lair at Tom Sawyer's Island.
