Mexico 05-25-16

Caren went on a fabulous free vacation as the "plus one" with her friend Amy, who won the trip through her work. They headed down to Los Cabos for three days of relaxation without the kids. http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8UbNGrdw3WC9g

Soccer Tournament 05-21-16

Cecily's soccer team participated in the Beach Bash Tournament for soccer this weekend at the Huntington Beach Sports Complex. They were guaranteed to play three games with a possible fourth if they did well. The first game they lost 0-3 to the Ontario Thunder. http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8UbNGrdw3WCxQ

Sunday, the girls played their game against the South L.A. Venom and killed 6-0! This meant that they would return in the evening to play in the championship game. Dynamite's final game was against the Ontario Thunder, who they had played the day before. Tea 05-15-16

Caren met up with her other mom friends for their annual Mother's Day Tea at Pamela's Tea House. They had a great time catching up.

Soccer Game & Party 05-14-16

Friday night, we watched the Spring Fling show at Marine View. Cecily had helped set-up with her band teacher, earning herself an hour of community service for her new Lion's Heart service. Saturday morning was her last spring season soccer game. Dynamite won 3-0 and ended the season in 3rd place. Mother's Day 05-08-16

Happy Mother's Day! Richard's parents came out to spend the weekend with us. Saturday evening, we took a nice walk through the wetlands to watch the sunset. Sunday morning, Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Otto took Cecily to see "The Jungle Book" before we enjoyed our delicious ham lunch. Lego & Soccer 05-07-16

Right after we were done in Downtown Disney, we headed straight to Cecily's soccer game. They played the first place team and had a tough time. Our team dominated the field with many goal attempts, but the ball just would not go in the goal or went straight to the goalie. We ended up losing 0-4. Costume Cotillion 05-04-16

Tonight was the last Cotillion for 6th grade, and it was their costume party. Since it was May 4, it was only logical to make the party Star Wars themed. Many of the kids also opted for Star Wars costumes too. Cecily had decided she was going to be BB8. Caren dropped Cecily off at Cotillion then headed to South Coast Plaza with Dawn for a fun moms pampering event at Lululemon. Lego Build 05-03-16

ivivva 05-01-16

Cecily's new favorite store is ivivva. Since she wears leggings ALL THE TIME, this is the perfect store for her. For her birthday, she got a headband and tank top from ivivva from Paige. Dawn also informed us of their OC Cheer Station. So we took the girls today to the ivivva Cheer Station to cheer on the runners of the OC Marathon. The girls had fun cheering and dancing, and they also got a free tank top. We even happened to run into Emma at the store after the event!
