Griffith Observatory 10-28-18

Troop 694 invited us to join them on their field trip to Griffith Observatory to earn their Senior Sky Badge. Only Cecily and Yvi could make it from our troop, but we brought along Felicia and her mom Denise from Troop 1724. It was a fun and educational day. http://pix.sfly.com/vKnO3f

Mary Poppins 10-26-18

Our first official Senior Girl Scout outting to see Mary Poppins only ended up with three girls from our troop, but we ended up with four girls from Troop 1724 (Felicia's troop). Alexsia and Kelly couldn't make it last minute, so Cecily ended up bringing Katie and Nicolette brought her friend Lisa. HBHS APA program did a fantastic job with their Mary Poppins show. Phoenix Birthdays 10-21-18

Happy Birthday, Austin! We headed to the Enchanted Pumpkin Garden to check out the cool carved pumpkins. When we got back, Austin and Hayden opened their birthday presents. Phoenix 10-19-18

Friday afternoon, we headed to Phoenix to see Richard's family. We thought Willow would enjoy having more space so we took Caren's car, but she couldn't seem to get settled on the drive out. On Saturday, Emily had a band competition in Flagstaff all day. We had lunch at Freddy's before taking all the dogs (except Gracie) to Petsmart for Halloween treats. Golf Team Pictures 10-12-18

Now that the golf season is over, they finally had their team pictures taken for the yearbook Friday after school. It was super windy, and one of the freshman girls got hit by a stray teed ball. Poor Kennedy! It started raining that night when Cecily and Nicolette tried to go play miniature golf, and there was an amazing lightning show! Willow broke out her new USC shirt for the game on Saturday. Sunday morning, Cecily and Richard went to play an early back nine at Meadowlark. They had a fun morning and enjoyed breakfast at the golf course. Cecily's favorite part was driving the golf cart that Richard rented. Golf vs HBHS 10-11-18

Our final match of the golf season was our rescheduled game against HBHS. They were supposed to play last week, but the game was postponed due to potential thunderstorms (which never happened). Cecily and Kennedy played against Peyton and Courtney (both girls from Cecily's Lion's Heart group). Cecily played her best game and scored a 35, coming in at the top of her team! Our last away match was against Edison at Baker. This time, they played the back 9 holes. Cecily played better at Baker this time and scored a 49. Afterwards, Coach Bruce treated the team to dinner at In-N-Out. http://pix.sfly.com/d072oM

SMHS & Golf Movie Night 10-06-18

Caren was excited to watch Allie play soccer at her high school on the field that she used to play soccer. We drove up with Rasha and walked around campus while Allie warmed up with her team. It was fun to see all our family names along the walkway in the courtyard. Cecily enjoyed her Tony's Pizza while watching the game which they tied 1-1. That night, we headed to Katie's house for a golf team movie night. Mini Golf & Mall 10-05-18

The girls had fun at practice on Thursday, riding on the golf carts with Coach Bruce and Coach Webb. Friday after school, Cecily played mini golf with Grace, Lauren, and Riley. Later that night, she hung out at the mall with Whitney. http://pix.sfly.com/-KXT11
