Preschool Thanksgiving 11-25-08
Cecily's school had their annual Thanksgiving Program this morning. Cecily's pre-k class sang a song about Pilgrims and Indians. They were so cute!

Disney Day 11-19-08
We had a great time at California Adventure and Disneyland with our friends today. We rode Monster's Inc., King Triton's Carousel, the Golden Zephyr, Dumbo, Storybook Boats, Tea Cups, the newly reopened Small World, Finding Nemo Submarines, and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. We watched Playhouse Disney and happened to catch the tail end of Fantasmic. Next time we come, we will be able to see Santa and watch the Christmas Parade!

Playgroup Thanksgiving Potluck 11-18-08
We had our playgroup Thanksgiving potluck today at Mollie's new house in Manhattan Beach. The kids enjoyed playing out in their yard (they have awesome fake grass) as well as dressing up inside. Cecily, Mollie, and Mollie's sister Siena walked down to the nearby park to have fun on the playground equipment. Cecily had a great time with Mollie!

Caren's Birthday Brunch 11-16-08
The moms went out to celebrate Cheryl turning 40 and Caren turning 30 by having brunch at Savannah at the Beach. They enjoyed the delicious food, and six of them stayed at the restaurant until 5:00 when the sun was setting! That has to be the longest brunch ever!

Caren's Disney Birthday 11-14-08
After school we took Cecily to Disneyland to celebrate Caren's big birthday. We started out in California Adventure, where Richard got to draw in the Animation Academy for the first time. Then we headed over to Disneyland for the rest of the evening. We saw a Mardi Gras band, a pirate band, a princess storytelling, and a royal coronation. We rode Haunted Mansion and the Tea Cups. We even saw the Princesses at the Princess Fantasy Faire for the first time. We ended our night with a delicous dinner of Monte Cristos at Cafe Orleans.

Tomi's Birthday Party 11-08-08
We celebrated Tomi's 4th birthday yesterday at her Princess and Pirate Tea Party. The girls had so much fun dressing up in the princess costumes. Tomi went through three princess dresses! The girls and boys enjoyed the crafts, bounce house, and their fun playroom. Cecily and Paige even stayed to go swimming in their pool. Halloween Party 11-01-08
We had our adult Halloween party at Brandy's house last night. Most of us dressed up, and some of the costumes were hilarious.
