Golf Party & Lion's Heart 09-30-18

The freshman girls golf team had their first team bonding party at Grace's house. The kids swam and Grace's dad barbecued burgers and hot dogs. Francesca 09-29-18

We finally were able to get together with Francesca and her mom Brigitte after not being able to see each other over the summer. After meeting them at Fashion Island, we let the girls go shop on their own. Then we headed over to Rogers Gardens to check out their Halloween display. Homecoming Football Game 09-28-18

Golf vs. Mater Dei 09-27-18

Cecily's first away match! They loaded the girls up in the team van, but couldn't fit all the equipment (golf bags and carts). So Caren helped drive the equipment to Baker Golf Course in Fountain Valley. Coach Bruce offered Caren to ride with him in the golf cart, so she took him up on it. Cecily was annoyed Caren was there, but she really had fun on the golf cart and taking pictures. The girls did great and only lost by 7 points! They played nine holes with a final score of Marina 242 and Mater Dei 235. Cecily and her golfing partners, Katie and Kennedy, all got the same score of 55! http://pix.sfly.com/UYTnS1

Golf vs. HBHS 09-26-18

Cecily and Emily enjoyed taking pictures with the fun Pixar themed posters that were put up at school for Homecoming week. After school, we headed to Meadowlark for her match against HBHS. Bill's Wedding 09-22-18

We were invited to Richard's co-worker, Bill's wedding. They seated us with their other co-workers, John and Frank. It was the first time we have met any of his co-workers since Laura at Raytheon! Richard met his now wife, Maria, when he had to go to Florida with Bill for work. Maria was allowed to tag along and Caren wasn't. Haha! Congratulations to Bill and Maria! http://pix.sfly.com/NrUcyf

Harbour Mall 09-21-18

The Huntington Harbour Mall celebrated their 50th anniversary with a neighborhood party. Cecily volunteered along with Allie, Sarina, and Isobel for Lion's Heart. She also brought Kaylei along for fun. When they were done working, they played some games and won prizes. Huntington Library & Michelle 09-15-18

Caren and Cecily headed up to Pasadena for a fun morning at the Huntington Library with Grandma and Papa (before they had to leave for Sandy's wedding). We made a quick stop to finally see Baby B or Damian after having only seen Baby A or Lucas at the hospital. Golf vs. HBHS 09-10-18

The freshman girls had their first match against HBHS (they played six holes at Meadowlark). Coach Bruce wanted to make sure the most important thing was that the girls had fun. He hopes to see them improve their own scores over the season if they enjoy playing the game. Huntington was a very competitive team, and they won 168 to 204. First Week of School 09-07-18

We had an interesting first full week of school. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning, Cecily had soccer try-outs from 5-7 am, then a full day of school followed by golf practice after school. The early mornings paid off though since Cecily made the Marina freshman team! We met up with Bronson and Cheryl for our annual back to school celebration. It used to be at Chuck E. Cheese, but last year we changed it up and went to Glowzone. But due to our crazy schedules, we settled for a quick ice cream treat. Knott's & Pool Movie 09-02-18

Cecily had a busy weekend! After school on Friday, Cecily went to Meadowlark with Katie and her dad to play golf on the course.
