Michelle & Co. 01-31-16

Stephanie and Caren had been working hard to plan Michelle's "Michelle & Co." Tiffany-themed bridal shower. Lots of arts & crafts (making the bags, etching the glasses, creating earrings, etc.) and decorating made the shower turn out beautifully. Guests etched their initials onto a glass of their choosing, wrote some advice for the bride-to-be, checked to see what they had on their phones, and then Michelle had to guess which guest brought her which pair of panties that we strung up like a banner. We enjoyed food from Lemonade and a delicious Tiffany blue box cake before Michelle opened her mostly lingerie and jewelry themed gifts. Cookies & Oliver 01-30-16

It's Girl Scout Cookie time! Cecily walked her friend's neighborhood as well as our own to sell cookies. Saturday afternoon, we attended a performance of "Oliver" to support Cecily's new friend, Cambria. Disney Day 01-25-16

Caren had been volunteering at Disney marathons to earn free Disney tickets. She finally earned three tickets, so we all went for a fun Disney day on Monday while Cecily had a day off from school. We started at California Adventure to check out the new Carsland. We LOVED Radio Springs Racers and were glad we got a fast pass ticket so we were able to ride it twice before heading over to Disneyland. Longest wait of the day was for Space Mountain (Hyperspace Mountain with a Star Wars theme) because the ride broke down as we were waiting. But super proud of Cecily for riding it even though she didn't end up liking the ride. Since we are all about food, we had to stop and share a fried chicken dinner at Plaza Inn but also shared a Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans as well. We ended our night with the Paint the Night Parade (which was amazing!) and the fireworks. Ice Skating 01-20-16

Quinn's Birthday & Bridal Shower Prep 01-17-16

We headed up to Pasadena to meet Stephanie to do crafts for Michelle's bridal shower. First we met up with Papa, Grandma, Uncle Allen, Aunt Cindy, Brendan, and Quinn at Din Tai Fung for lunch. When we were leaving, Cecily spotted a Coco, which we had and loved in Taiwan. So we had to stop to get a boba tea to compare. Then we went back to their house to have cake to celebrate Quinn's birthday. After that, we went over to Stephanie's house to work on bridal shower prep. Star Wars & Wizard of Oz 01-15-16

Friday, Richard and Caren had the opportunity to try out a new restaurant for free as they were training and getting ready for their grand opening. Girl Scouts ENC 01-11-16

Cecily's Girl Scout Troop took a field trip to the Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach to finish the last requirement of their Cadette Tree Badge. Weekend 01-10-16

Friday night, Cecily went to see "The Peanuts Movie" with her friend Cambria while Caren attended the AYSO volunteer dinner at the HB Hilton. On Sunday, Caren and Cecily headed up to Pasadena. South Coast Plaza 01-06-16

We took Paige and Dawn to South Coast Plaza so the girls could attend the monthly Lego mini build.
