Disney Day 07-30-07

Cecily and Caren went to California Adventure and Disneyland today.

They started off with a ride on Monster's Inc., played in the Animation Building, got some yummy tortillas, rode the ferris wheel, and Heimlich's Chew Chew Train before heading over to Disneyland.
At Disneyland, we stopped to watch a marching band, and Cecily received some fun colored beaded necklaces. Then we rode Small World before heading home.

Gina's Baby Shower 07-18-07

Cecily and Caren attended their playgroup baby shower for Gina today. Cecily had so much fun playing with her friends.

Emma's Birthday Party 07-15-07

Cecily helped celebrate Emma's 3rd birthday today at her party at My Gym. She ate pizza and cupcakes, and she had a blast playing on the play equipment, especially the trampoline.

OC Fair 07-13-07

We went to the opening day of the 2007 Orange County Fair today. This year, the theme was CowAbunga! Cecily loved all the farm animals she saw. We ate roasted corn on the cob and funnel cake. Cecily ended the day with her very first elephant ride all by herself. What a big girl!!!

Vegas Vacation 07-07-07

We took a fun Vegas Vacation this past weekend and stayed at the Treasure Island hotel on the Strip. Saturday, we walked around our hotel and checked out the Fashion Show mall across the street before heading over to Bellagio for their buffet. After our brunch, we headed over to the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace to do some shopping. Cecily loved FAO Schwartz and the Aquarium. That night, we had a yummy dinner at the Steakhouse in Treasure Island with Cindy's family, and then we saw Mystere. Cecily really enjoyed the show and clapped along with everyone else. Sunday, we took Cecily for a dip in the pool and grabbed lunch at the deli in the hotel. Then we took the tram over to the Mirage to see the tigers and the fish. We attempted to take Cecily to Circus Circus, but it was very ghetto. So we went shopping at the Las Vegas Outlet Center instead. That night, we ate at the Social House sushi restaurant in our hotel before heading out to Summerlin to visit family friends. Monday morning we enjoyed the buffet at Treasure Island before heading home.

Happy 4th of July 07-04-07

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We had a fun BBQ with Cecily's playgroup friends. The kids played in a bounce house, with bubbles, in the sprinklers and ate yummy burgers, fried chicken, watermelon, chips, and cupcakes. At night, we went to Sunset Beach and watched a cool illegal fireworks show. We did not stay long because Cecily was afraid of the noise that the fireworks made. But she did enjoy the fireworks on TV.
