We had our first 6th grade Cotillion tonight. Cecily was happy to see her Harbour View friends who are now at Mesa View, and she was super excited to see her Junior Guard friends who are going to Dwyer. Soccer & Moon 09-27-15

Today was the AYSO Picnic and Picture Day. After our team took pictures, we headed to Natalie's house for our team pool party. The kids had fun swimming. Soccer & Family 09-26-15

Our soccer game vs. the HB Galaxy this morning was very stressful. The other team had two girls who dominated (Skylar on defense and Jasmine on offense). But our players worked together and won the game 2-1. Cecily was happy they beat Sophia and Sinead's team. Friends 09-25-15

Cecily had a fun week with her friends. Sunday afternoon, she played in the water next door with Ella, Harper, and Remi. During the week, Caren volunteered at Marine View to help pass out ducks for the fall fundraiser. Caren also worked on painting some chairs for Cecily's playroom. Friday, Cecily walked with her friends after school to Juice It Up for smoothies. First Soccer Game 09-19-15

We had our first soccer game of the fall season today after last Saturday games were cancelled because of street paving around the school. The girls loved the banner that Caren made for the team. Even though we had the last game of the day in the hot sun, the Black Widows beat the Royal Mustangs 4-0. Cecily played a great game, taking a corner kick and many of the throw-ins. Friends 09-18-15

Cecily has been enjoying her first full week of middle school. On Tuesday, they had school pictures taken on a rainy day. After school Thursday, she went shopping and got a mani/pedi with Alexsia. Friday, she walked to Dairy Queen after school with her new friends Sophie and Kelly. Girl Scout Galaxy Game 09-12-15

The LA Galaxy had a fun family night for the Girl Scouts. They started with a soccer clinic led by some of the Galaxy trainers. Cecily and Sophia even had a couple of the players sign their jerseys and soccer balls. After the clinic, we headed into the stadium to watch the LA Galaxy play Montreal Impact. First Day of Middle School 09-09-15

The day before school started, Caren threw a back-to-school breakfast for the Marine View teachers. Bright and early on Wednesday morning, Kelly picked us up for the first day of school at Marine View Middle School. We saw our friends from Harbour View as well as Cecily's new friend, Sophie, from Junior Guards.

After school, we headed to Chuck E. Cheese for our annual first-day-of-school get-together with our playgroup friends. We ran into Cecily's friend Kate from school as well. SCP & Disney 09-03-15

On Tuesday, we headed to South Coast Plaza for some lunch, shopping, and Lego building.
